Brendan Carney is a licensed acupuncturist and is certified by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Additionally, Brendan holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, graduating magna cum laude, from Colby-Sawyer College, where he was also an academic all-American on the basketball court. After landing a job in the high paced competitive sports industry Brendan decided that he wanted to work directly with people in order to help them live healthier lives. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine proved to be the perfect outlet for this desire.

Brendan is a General Practitioner seeing patients with a wide variety of conditions and has extensive experience with orthopedic, and structural disorders, OB/GYN conditions, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Neurology, Pain Management and Cancer Care as well as other conditions. He employs Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Nutrition, Reiki and Chinese Tuina Bodywork in his treatments.

Additionally Brendan has studied intensively under David Euler, the chief instructor of the acupuncture program at the Harvard Medical School's continuing education department. Brendan brings a detailed, task oriented mind, a strong knowledge of acupuncture theory, and a passion for the medicine to each patient that walks through the door.

Brendan's interests include T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Reiki, Hatha Yoga, nutrition and cooking, strength and conditioning, eastern philosophy, and meditation.
